Many people like to spell certain words incorrectly. Perhaps,
they do it intentionally or unintentionally. Some people don’t really
bother about this situation especially for non-English speakers. However, I think
it’s better to maintain a true and correct a wrong.
There are a few examples that I could recognize based on my
experiences.
Fiancé vs. fiancée
Fiance - is the man you plan to marry
Fiancee - is the woman you plan to marry
The words above always been misused by some people because they like to use fiancee to represent both genders.
Weeding vs. Wedding
Apart from that, people also
tend to write wedding as weeding.
Weed – is a wild plant growing where it is not wanted that prevents
crops or garden flowers from growing properly therefore, weeding means to
remove unwanted plants from a garden or other place.
Wedding – is a marriage ceremony.
Weather vs. Whether
Weather – is the temperature and other conditions such as sun, rain
and wind
Whether – is used when talking about choice you have to make or about
something that is not certain (Longman Dictionary, 2003).
